What is One Love holistics?
We're a small business dedicated soul-ly (a positively intentional typo) to the sourcing, processing, and global trade of "Palo Santo" a.k.a. the beloved botanical species scientifically known as Bursera graveolens. We are a team of environmental conservationists, botanists, researchers, and positive social-impact entrepreneurs working one-day-at-a-time to fundamentally improve the quality of life for all producers within our supply chain & to help actively conserve Palo Santo's native environmental habitat: the tropical dry forest.

What is your shipping policy?
Available Shipping Couriers include USPS, FedEx, UPS, & DHL.
Tracking Number & Delivery Confirmation provided with every order.
Domestic orders within the United States:
• All parcels are prepared & shipped within 1-3 business days of final order confirmation & successful receipt of payment. Please allow 3-5 business days for arrival of shipment.
Orders that contain small-sized items (less than 1 lb in weight), will be sent using USPS 1st Class Mail for our domestic free-shipping option.
Orders that contain mid-sized items (3-6 lb in weight) will be sent using USPS Priority Mail, FedEx Ground, or UPS Ground for our domestic free-shipping option.
Larger orders that contain items with heavier weights and/or greater dimensional volume (i.e. 10 lb bulk sticks) will be sent using FedEx Ground or UPS Ground depending on your shipping destination for our domestic free-shipping option.

International orders (outside US):
• All parcels are prepared & shipped within 1-3 business days of final order confirmation & receipt of payment. Please allow 7-14 business days for shipment depending on package size & destination.
Orders that contain small-sized items (less than 4 lb in weigh or $400 USD total order value), will be sent using USPS 1st Class Mail International, unless otherwise requested.
Larger-sized orders that contain items with heavier weights and/or greater dimensional volume (i.e. 10 lb bulk sticks) will be sent using USPS Priority Mail International or DHL Worldwide Express, unless otherwise requested.
Please include a phone number in order notes for all international orders, in the event you need to be contacted by Customs regarding your package.

What is your return and/or exchange policy?
One Love Holistics - Exchanges & Returns:
We offer a full return and/or exchange policy within 14 days of initial purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be sealed in its original packaging*, unused, and in the same shelf-ready condition in which it was shipped, complete with an original receipt or proof of purchase.
*Please note we are able to process returns for bags of bulk sticks that have been opened, however we cannot process returns for any previously-opened essential oil and/or personal bath & beauty products.
We replace items only due to manufacturing defects and/or shipping damage. If you need to exchange for an identical item due to either of these issues, please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note only regular priced items may be returned, sale items cannot be refunded. Customer will be sent an email with a prepaid return shipping label within 48 hours of receiving return request. Once a return package is received, we will send a confirmation message to notify the customer the return item has been returned & a refund credit has successfully been processed within 1-3 business days of receiving return package.
Please note certain financial institutions and/or payment platforms may require an additional time beyond 7-10 business days to fully process & credit your refund. In the event your refund has still not posted within a reasonable amount of time, please feel free to contact our orders team directly at email@example.com.
For any lost or missing package claims:
Please note your contact information will be passed to the local postal investigation team in your area for a case review before reshipment.

We do what we do with honor and integrity & are not fly-by-night "Palo Pushers." Our niche space has exploded with third-party sellers who have no personal supply-chain connection, educational content, nor transparent information regarding the true origin of their products, despite widespread marketing messages of "sustainability."
Unsatisfied with your online retail order for any reason? No problem. We're happy to refund your money in full.
Please note for those who believe a product is "inauthentic" & request a subsequent refund due to a claim of "inauthenticity," that your refund amount will be adjusted & reduced by the original cost of our free shipping & the additional cost of return shipping, as all of our products at OLH are always 100% authentic.
Where do your products ship from?
All of our orders ship directly from our North America HQ & Warehouse, located in Northern California's San Francisco Bay Area.
For US-based orders, there is no import paperwork required in order to receive our products.
For international orders, please note each country has their own list of requirements for imported goods.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they posses any import license and/or permissions to import commercial goods without issue.
International Duties payments are the sole responsibility of the importer/receiver.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ECUADORIAN VS. PERUVIAN-ORIGIN PALO SANTO?
As with many natural products, one can experience subtle differences when utilizing materials of different geographical origin. Just as coffee beans from different parts of the world can vary in their end-product, Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) trees also vary in their aromatic nuances depending on their particular geo-regional source. At the most fundamental level, our Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) wood of Ecuadorian-origin is slightly more petite in size & rounded in shape, with "sweeter" notes of cinnamon, vanilla, & coconut. Our Peruvian-origin is slightly larger in size & and more rectangular in shape, with the "spicier" notes of citrus, mint, and diesel. Both can exhibit aromatic notes of the other, depending on the particular pieces of wood.
They are both very lovely & are simply two different varietals of our beloved Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) wood.

What is Palo Santo Fruit?
Meet the Fruit of Palo Santo: a 100% Annually-Regenerative Palo Santo product!
We're excited to introduce the most sustainable Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) product available to-date. The fruit of Palo Santo is collected using an annually regenerative and zero-harm harvest model. By utilizing the fruit of living Palo Santo trees, we are able to generate additional economic opportunities for the local communities during the fruit's seasonal harvest. Its aroma is distinctly unique from its wooden counterpart, while still retaining that signature aromatic nature of our beloved Palo Santo. It is best described as a floral-like & "bright" citrus aroma profile, making an excellent choice for all types of wellness applications. We recommend using our Palo Santo Fruit EO with an essential oil diffuser for a pleasantly wonderful & smoke-free ambiance.

What is the difference between Palo Santo Wood Essential Oil & Palo Santo Fruit Essential Oil?
Our 100% Pure Palo Santo Fruit Essential Oil, is steam distilled from the FRUIT of the Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) tree. It's distinctly unique and makes a wonderful compliment to our Palo Santo Wood Essential Oil. The Fruit EO is an annually-regenerative product & is described as being a brighter & more "floral-like” aroma mixed with the notes of citrus. Our Palo Santo Wood EO is also steam distilled, and embodies that classic Palo Santo aroma in a densely-potent and sweet concentration of naturally-occurring oils from the heartwood itself, using mindfully-gathered fallen wood for the material inputs. Both oils are used for space cleansing and are great for utilizing directly in a diffuser and/or various topical applications (just be sure to dilute with a carrier oil before applying to your skin to check for sensitivities, as with any pure EOs).

I'm seeing a dark smoke coming from my Palo Santo Stick after lighting?
Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) wood comes in many different forms & ranges across a wide spectrum of appearance in its color gradient, shape, resin densities, and aromatic profiles. Dark smoke is most often a byproduct of wood that is rich in its naturally occurring resins. When you burn a piece of Palo Santo that contains a dense concentration of the wood's internally-occurring resin, you are essentially putting an open flame to oil, hence the result of a dark smoke. Typically when you have a stick of this nature, the smoke will burn black while it is being lit & then fade into a a traditional translucent smoke color once the flame is extinguished. Sticks that are not as resin-heavy can actually burn more smoothly, albeit they are less-rich in the wood's natural oils. All of our bulk batches contain a balanced collection of mid-to-high resin wood. We recommend getting the most efficient use out of these particularly rich sticks by shaving small amounts of the wood on top of a coconut coal for a smooth & continuous burn. Carefully shaving small pieces of the wood is also a great way to prolong your use of each stick and responsibly use 100% of every last piece!
Are Palo Santo Sticks ever "Dipped in Oil?"
It is a common misconception that reputable Palo Santo vendors are "dipping Palo Santo sticks in oil." This belief results from the occasional oil residues you will find on sticks that have been cut to smaller sizes. Any oil that is visibly present on a Palo Santo stick in its natural state or "bubbling while burning" is naturally-occurring & is entirely A-OK!
How can I distinguish "fake" Palo Santo from "real" Palo Santo?
There is a fair amount of confusing misinformation out there concerning the "authenticity" of Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) products. More often than not, customers are simply unaware of the nuances between the various quality grades and geographical-origins of Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) wood. As with most natural products, there is also a wide variation in terms of shapes, sizes, coloration, and resin-saturation across all different batches of bulk sticks. Often times, people will only be familiar with Ecuadorian or Peruvian-origin, and will naturally be skeptical when they receive a product from a region different than they are previously familiar with. While there are of course many parallels (as it is the same wood) the aromatic notes between Peruvian vs. Ecuadorian origin product are each distinctly unique as well. Both low-resin and/or high resin sticks reflect the relative amount of naturally-occurring oils within the wood, not the authenticity of the product.
Your website says there's currently a sale, but I don't see the sale price on products?
If we're running a site-wide or collection-specific sale, you will see the discounted sale price reflected within your shopping cart & at checkout. If we are running a sale for individual items, you will those reduced sale prices reflected directly within the product listing itself.
